MONOCULAR OCCLUDERS
MATERIALS:
2 pairs of sunglasses with open sides
Matte black spray paint
HOW TO:
Remove all lenses from the frames
Spray paint one left and one right lens. Use multiple coats until the lenses are fully opaque, until no light gets through
Attach a right lens to one frame and a left lens to the other frame.
Recycle the other lenses
Use in lieu of shields #L and R of the Clarity Eyesight Trainer.
BINOCULAR OCCLUDERS
MATERIALS:
Post-its of various sizes, or
Strips of thick paper
Painter’s tape or other tape that sticks to the skin, but can be easily removed
HOW TO:
cut out the following sizes out of your sheet of paper
5.75 x 2.5 inch (large)
4.25 x 2.5 inch (medium)
3.5 x 2.5 inch (small)
Use in lieu of shields #1, 2 and 3 of the Clarity Eyesight Trainer respectively. Attach the strips to your forehead with tape.
BROCK STRING
MATERIALS:
Clothes line or a soft thick string, 10ft ( 〜 3 m) long.
Beads or small clothes pins of various colors. The center opening for the string must be small enough as to prevent the beads to slide on the string without your involvement
HOW TO:
Place the beads on the clothes line
NOSE CARD
MATERIALS:
Frame from sunglasses with no rims, lenses removed
Two colors of card stock (bright high intensity contrasting colors are needed)
Putty
Glue
HOW TO:
From your card stock, cut out 2 card of different colors, about 3.5 x 5.0 inch
Glue the cards together
Connect the cards to the center of the frame using the putty, the long side facing away from you
Use in lieu of the Overbound Field of View Separator.
